Add Backup Files


You can add some backup files ( *.sql, *.zip, *.gz, etc. ) to the Backup Files list, or you can select a folder, the software will automatically search the vaild backup files ( *.sql, *.zip, *.gz, etc. ) from the folder and subfolders and add them to the list.
Add Backup Files

  1. Backup Files List : The backup files for recovery.
  2. Add Files: Choose the backup files and add them to the list for recovery. The duplicate files will be removed from the list before adding. If you add an incremental / differential backup file, the software will automatically add the related backup files to the list. You don't need to add them manually.
  3. Add a folder : Select a folder and the software will automatically search the vaild backup files ( *.sql, *.zip, *.gz, etc. ) from the folder and subfolders and add them to the list. The duplicate files will be removed from the list before adding.
    Add a folder
    1. Folder: Select the root folder. Click Browse to select a folder.
    2. Rules: You can use the wildcard ( *, ?, etc. ) to find the backup files.
    3. Include subfolders: Check the option, the software will automatically search the vaild backup files ( *.sql, *.zip, *.gz, etc. ) from the folder and subfolders and add them to the list.
  4. Remove: Remove the selected item from the backup files list.
  5. Remove All: Remove all of the items from the backup files list.
  6. Password: Enter the password if the selected ZIP file is encrypted.
  7. Move Up: Move the selected item up.
  8. Move Down: Move the selected item down.
  9. Continue even if an error occurs during running: The task will continue to run even if an error occurs.
  10. Restore databases from ALL items in the backup files: All items in the backup files will be restored, you can not select databases and items from the backup files by yourself.
  11. Select some items in the backup files for recovery: The software will Reverse Parse the backup files and extract the database structures from them. You can select the databases and items ( Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions and Events ) which you wish to restore from the backup files for recovery. Read More...
